How much does it cost?

Free 15 minute chat
We provide a 15 minute telephone conversation with a clinical psychologist to help you consider whether this is the right time for you to seek therapeutic help, as we know it can be difficult to take that first step. For this reason, the initial chat is free. Contact us now, and we will arrange a time and date for your phone call.

Standalone Assessment Session £150, available online or in-clinic
The initial assessment is an important process that allows you and your psychologist to get to know each other, helps to define and clarify the parameters of the relationship and the work you will undertake together, and gathers the essential information that is required for you to work collaboratively in formulating what is going on for you and which approach will work best for your needs.

Written Report following assessment session - £50

Please note: the fee for your assessment session is required 48 hours in advance so we can secure your booking.

Ongoing Therapy (hourly sessions) £120, available online or in-clinic

If you are already certain that you wish to book further sessions, you can pay your initial assessment session at £120. The £150 fee is for a standalone assessment session (you might also wish to request a written report summarising the formulation). After the assessment session, you and your psychologist move onto therapeutic work, in which you will together gain a deeper exploration of what has been going on for you, and work towards your goals. This might be a regular session - weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on your needs and preferences. The process will require some work on your part, which may be creative, reflective and meditative, or could involve experimenting with things outside of sessions. The number of sessions you will need, will be contingent on your aims and the nature of your situation.

You and your psychologist can agree a point at which to use a session to step back, and reflect on how things are going and what you have achieved together, how close you are to meeting your goals, and to plan any next steps - including whether you are ready to finish therapy.

If your budget for therapy will cover a limited number of sessions, you and your psychologist will be able to discuss what can be realistically worked toward during those sessions, and what you may be able to continue with on your own. Some people find it helpful to save a session for a few months after the work as a 'top-up', review and planning session.

Ongoing therapy sessions can be paid on the day via bank transfer.

Cancellations
There is a 48 hour cancellation policy, whereby if you give less than 48 hours' notice you still need to pay for the session, as this time is already booked out for you. Please give as much notice as possible if you cannot attend.
